In brief: Alapacis is software purchased with a one-time payment. It is not a subscription. We do not collect your data. You have no connectivity or online activation requirements. The licence is for personal use on a single PC.
Software: the Alapacis application for Windows and the Alapacis app for smartphones
(Android and, in the future, iOS), in the versions distributed via alapacis.app.
Licence: the unique key generated at the time of purchase, which unlocks the
features of the purchased version (Free, Premium, Full).
User: the natural person who has purchased or uses the Software.
In exchange for payment of the price indicated at the time of purchase, the controller grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
The licence is perpetual: once purchased, you may use the Software without time limits on the version released at the date of purchase and on subsequent versions made available (updates included in the Full version; where different, specified on the purchase page).
The following are prohibited:
Alapacis is designed to operate entirely locally. Your files are never uploaded to external servers; synchronisation between PC and smartphone takes place over the home WiFi network via a direct encrypted connection. The licence key is verified on first launch without any call to a remote activation server.
Software updates are distributed free of charge via alapacis.app. The controller reserves the right to modify or discontinue development of new versions, without affecting the operation of the already-installed version.
Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS). The price is that indicated at the time of purchase, in euros inclusive of applicable VAT.
In accordance with applicable Italian consumer law (D.Lgs. 206/2005, art. 59(b)), the right of withdrawal is excluded for software provided on a non-tangible medium and made available immediately after payment, subject to the buyer's explicit waiver of withdrawal at checkout. Purchases made in error or with documented technical problems: contact [email protected] within 14 days.
The Software is provided "as is". The controller warrants that the Software will function substantially as described in the documentation at the time of purchase, but provides no additional warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall the controller be liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from use of or inability to use the Software, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the court of the User's place of residence or domicile shall have jurisdiction, pursuant to Italian consumer law (art. 66-bis, D.Lgs. 206/2005).

The controller reserves the right to update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Software after that period implies acceptance of the new terms.
